My tusheez

This blog was started once upon a time when a young girl at school didnt know better but thought otherwise. So the way earlier entries can be crass and words inappropriate so please don't judge. As now the person has evolved into someone older and wiser (hopefully) ..:.... But some of the entries were classic and hilarious so I don't have the heart to delete them :@ Well we were all young (read:wild) once, right?

Shabu Shabu Night..

It was time to spend some time at our humble abode and have a feast.
We had Shabu2 dinner feast many weeks ago...
Here's mom with her fish cake..

She looked very serious !

Here's Hui San and Ruth... obviously likin' it!

Here's Apri... obviously very excited...he was turning into the Shabu2 monster..

We used the yakiniku pan for the grilling and the pot in the middle for shabu2 (Japanese steamboat)

However, for sauce, we used Coca suki style (Thai).. so it was a capalang steamboat feast.
Just the way we are.

Here's more cooking-instruction-looking pictures..

Looks like I am writing a recipe eh??

That was the fishy cake..

And below is SillyCelly (looking like she hasn't slept in 4 days) and her mother (fresh like the tulips)

So, that's that!

Before I end this Foodie Goodie Entry, I won a bottle of Whisky the other day.

WINNING A BOTTLE OF WHISKY ALWAYS MAKES MY DAY!!!

ACID BAR presented me with Glenmorangie whisky, for singing in Acid Bar during their open mic contest last month.

Apparently I got #1 prize, the judges were Olivia and Michaela herself.
But seriously, actually maybe it's a bit keylong also lah.. eh he he... dont tell anyone....

Speaking of bands, do U remember Brannigans now Brigs at the Grand Hyatt Hotel? A band called Freedom from Malaysia used to play there in the early 90s'.

Recently, I was shocked to read in the newspaper that their former lead singer died of cancer. She was 44.

She was very beautiful and a trend setter back in those days.

Someone just recommended a supplement (traditional kind) to help to maintain/improve voice quality. Aiyah...I explain laa when we meet.....

Ahh... Glemorangie, one of the smallest distillery in Scotland eventhough their parent company is the 6th largest whiskey producer in the world.

Glenmorangie is by far my favourite single malt. Beats the likes of Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Maccallen and Johnny Walker Green Label, imho.

Glenmorangie 25 years (HKD 1350) is heavenly but pricey. 18 years (HKD 400+) would be ideal in terms of value for money.

Keep a look out them. 18 and 25 years are very hard to find these days.
