A day out with the Momis..

Uhhh.. making the MoMIs meet is fun fun fun!
my best babe Jac and me took our mom out on a China town trip last week.
Or maybe it was last last Saturday.. the first firework day.. 5th August

First stop was the little corner opposite Pearl Centre. Did you know they sell durians there??
It was pretty good actually!






Here are momis and the durians




The durians were quite cheap actually, these tiny weeny ones were one Bollarz but the bigger ones were 10 buacks for three.




1 dolar durians were very teeny weeny though.
one person portion.

We then proceeded along China town..

Ahh.. Wuerstelstand.. German sausages!!!

The seller is Austrian, apparently he got into the papers for being so creative or something.

Like you know, having a German sausage stall in China Town is creative.
At some point in the day, he would blast some German/Astrian funky music from his stereo and dance along though.. Quite adorable ..

We visited some shops after stuffing ourselves with cheese sausages, kueh tutu ala Indon style, more Indon kuehs, Thai coconuts...and man... they sell a lot of things in China Town leh!
I bought this old old original DVD, like those black and white flicks..

I was looking for Gone with the Wind or Casablanca... couldnt find....
So I bought Little Women.. heheh.. will watch it soon.


I also found this shop that sells anything in miniature form.
Actually they probably got their goods from Thailand coz I saw the same stuff back in Thailand but about 1/3 the price.




But it was still a lovely cutesy sight... ahh.. super tiny baskets of fruits.. Anyone?

Aiyoh.. there were all damn cute lah.. but me being so practical wouldnt buy them though. A bit useless right? Somemore so small, sure will lose one. But still, I was squeaming here and there.. "soo cute.. soo cute.."




At night.. we went to watch some fireworks by the bay, at One fullerton.

PSSTttttttt.... actually we were kinda trying to matchmake her divorced dad and my divorced mom. But, I think it turned out a bit awkward.

I think it's difficult lah., match old people together hor?

So nairmind... we all had a blast anyway...
Oh I am still hunting for suitor for my lovely mom. She deserves the bestest.

After ooh-aahing for so long, we just realised we didnt take photo WITH the fireworks..

so that was me and mom with the fireworks. She looks so hepiii again!!!

It was almost orgasmic I thought, at some points. It was just euphoric. Especially when climatic endings came rushing with the burst of colours, the bang and the music.. the screams..

Climatic.. Euphoric.. orgasmic.. spasmic....

Sorry lah.. high and dry mah!
